The “Swiss Water® Process” method uses only three elements to create intriguing decaffeinated coffee: water, temperature, and time. YES is a natural and 100% chemical-free process.
Raw coffee is placed in contact with water for about 10 hours. During this time, the water is continuously filtered through activated charcoal that gradually retains the caffeine. Temperature is also monitored throughout the process until the coffee remains caffeine-free.
The decaffeinated in question is a blend of Brazilian coffees.
